Seriously!??
he tends to step on my nerves at times, and at other times, he just makes me see things... better.
i remmember him explaining the refference variable, in the most fucked up way, i mean seriously half way through, all the class thought that both answers are the same!!
untill he surprised us with a big kung pow!!
hmmmmm... my mind is a fuzz now thanks to the idiot infront me!
anyways, a peice of advice people:

read the book, do the homework, and study by yourself, or ask friends, thats probably the best way to go through this course succesfuly if things don't change

gustportal !! the real deal

you probably have noticed by now, that i snatched the blog's name from the university site itself, it had those small boxes at the right. (look above!)
you have to admit, the name is cool, and when i first snatched it the link never worked, when i asked i was told that its sort of an e-learning thing that is yet to be activated.
and to my surprise it was activated this semester.
first i had log-in issues since it only works with "internet explorer", yet i can tolerate that since the design is sexy, and everything is there at your finger tips.
seriously everything, even your email and peoplesoft.
only if all the faculty get costumed to it, i am 100% sure that learning will be a pretty interesting and fun experience with it. until the day comes, the day when i breach the system and fuck it all up just for fun! tehehehe.
i somehow have a feeling that someone else will fuck up the system and all hands will be pointed at me since i can't stop talking about it -_-

FORMAT!!

i remember back in the days, a format was the only solution to any problem you have on you PC.
i surely didn't believe in this, am the type of people that would never back up anything, and once somethings hits any of my systems, you'll find me jumping around in panic, thats pretty tiresome if you ask me, jumping around of course.
what made me think about it today, is that am actually formatting and installing different versions of windows, on two computers, on is my dell box, the other is a hp laptop am doing for a friend.
am only installing windows on my dell box since i got my hands on xp black edition and i just want to test it out and see how elite it is!!
probably am going to reformat it afterward and install some linux distro for further testing.
thats pretty much it...

the end of the tunnel!

about a minute ago while browsing a blog, something struck my mind!! it was an entry i had to make and write about, when i clicked on new post... i just lost it, i FORGOT!!
it just like having a big chunky file of something important on your HDD and just by the time you are going to connect your HDD to you box, it slips from your hands, drops on the floor, and refuses to work afterward, usually its the pin that reads the hard disk that is broken, which is something i wouldn't call totally unfix-able but, its really hard to fix, as hard as playing gears of war for the first time in your life, online!
i've been having a lot of those mind flashes, its like i have broken sectors, in my mind, i really hate it >_>

oh well, what can i possibly say about it?

anyways, let me blabber on and on, since for the given moment i feel like doing so,

on second thought, i don't know if thats what i want to do, since all my head says is:
"last mission on call of duty WAW, must finish"

change of drivers!

so this is where this whole blog turns into a major shift, focusing on me and my lifestyle for the matter.
i decided to do that for the two simple reason:

1-i will not spam www.q8geeks.org/blog with more of my ironic, pointless, dead, and doomed discoveries. And rubbish happenings.

2-so far this blog hasen't had a single visitor as far as i know, i never advertised it nor did i show it to anyone that had interest in it, so technically this blog doesn't even exist... its just like making a word file on my desktop computer, then copy that file into my external media(HDD, Flash drive etc...) so i can share it, and then i just hang that external piece of media on my wall under "achieved nonsense"

in my humble opinion i find it pointless to even write in here, even though i have no other reason to do, except the wishful thinking of someone in the far far future reads this simple article, and miraculously realizes how blessed he is to be sane for most of his day time, i know for myself that i can't keep my self fully sane during my usual wake time without the -trance state- like feeling, or my own pack of freshly carefully selected tobaccos and so on...

lets talk about me for an instant, shall we?
i am surely not you fancy rich boy nor your homeless smelly metal head (no offense)
To think about me, is just me, and that all you can grasp your hands on, because me and me don't fit well together, neither does me and she/he do any better.
i mostly prefer chilling in my house, and i have been completely slaved by MICROSOFT!!!
after getting and xbox 360 as a gift i just can't keep my hands away from, the bad thing is its a zephyr build, which will ensure getting me an RROD ASAP!
all i can do is pray more and minimize my play time by few hours hopefully.
I wouldn't call myself a geek since i don't think i indulged my self sololy into computers yet, despite of it being my major time waster/lover/best friend/best educator/etc...
i shall end this entry since i really need to go lay down or do something less active like a game of hexic or solitaire, because i caught flue after being able to not to for about two years or something.

student union

ok, no more formalities from now (hopefuly)
I will kick it off with the students union, after all it was the first thing that people warned me about once i entered GUST, heck I'll be frank about what people said, most of them told me that the students union will give you the big smile face for now just to get your vote and fuck you up later.
who the fuck says so ???
this is my third semester so far, and everything they did had benefited me and they never turned their backs on me!
I will most probably never join any (8a2ema) but I am one big Mustaqilla supporter, you don't like them then GTFO, they gave me more then I asked from them, and they deserve my support.
regarding their recent change in the (i3ana) "additional 100KD each normal semester and 50KD each summer course for intern scholar ship students", that will surely help a lot.
I feel much better now, people need to see rather then just listen and act based on words that technically can mean more then one thing at a time and mean nothing at the same time.

Life at GUST

ok, so lets talk about it,
the new campus is just simply amazing, and now since its near winter, being outside having a drink and a smoke became a chillaxing experience.


THE BUILDING
the building itself is high-tech and modern but ofcourse as any other building we have our own share of technical flaws


THE PEOPLE

simple as it is in any other society, we have all those types around here: nerdy, nosy, politics, hypocritical, gamers, occultists, etc...


FACULTY

most of the faculty are amazing, you need help they sure will offer their free time for you. on the other hand we do have our share of bad faculty as any other teaching system, the type that will simply fail you because you missed a homework and such other lame stuff.



to sum it all GUST is supposed to be one of the best universities in Kuwait if not the best one.
